Enrique Bekerman is Founder and Principal Consultant of Quality Manufacturing
Associates LLC (QMA) specializing in Operations, Organizational Excellence, and Quality
improvement. Enrique has 30+ years of business experience in Manufacturing, Research
and Development, Quality Assurance and Business Development in numerous industries
including over 20 years managing FDA regulated operations. Enrique has worked
extensively in International settings including Mexico, Brazil, Asia, and the United Kingdom.
Enrique has led and participated in initiatives that have resulted in success stories posted
in the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) web site with documented
financial impacts to clients of approximately $10 million. He has led a plant turn-around that
resulted in profits of $6 million, directed technology transfers, and managed multi-plant
domestic and overseas operations. He has authored several Quality Improvement articles
published on the internet including “5 keys to Building Quality” the basis for a workshop by
the same name presented at various prestigious venues. . Enrique has conducted
numerous seminars and workshops in Quality Principles, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma
and team effectiveness. He has assisted companies in implementing ISO-9001: 2000, CE
Marks, and ISO- 13485 and is thoroughly familiar with c-GMPs for food, drugs, cosmetics and
medical devices.
Enrique has BE and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering and an MBA in Management. He
is an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) and ASQ Certified Manager of Quality and
Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE). He is an MEP Certified Facilitator of Lean
Manufacturing Principles, Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen Rapid Improvement Events. He
is OSHA authorized to teach industrial safety awareness courses. He is Section Chair of The
American Society for Quality (ASQ) of Greater Palm Beach, Florida. He won the ASQ 2004-
2005 Award for Community Service.
Myriam Ochart is a Trainer, Process Improvement and Project Manager with extensive
experience in analyzing business processes to reduce operating costs, increase
productivity, eliminate waste, reduce defects, and improve process cycle time. Her
experience provides her the connection between theory and training to practical business
application. She is a creative, practical and inspirational leader leveraging her deductive
reasoning and creative communication to enhance her strengths in training, collaborating
and engaging employees in building a cohesive team environment.
Over the course of the past 6 years Myriam has leveraged her expertise and yielded
millions of dollars of benefits to the bottom line through managing and coaching multiple
Six Sigma project teams.

• Document repository and imaging efficiencies
• Software enhancement requirements
• E-commerce design for Six Sigma, VOC, QFD and HOC requirements

Myriam has delivered a variety of Six Sigma training programs to Executives, Managers,
and Associates. Training experience includes: Green Belt, Work-out, Process Mapping,
Process Modeling and Process Costing, Problem Solving and Seven Management and
Planning Tools, and various Goal setting and SMART Objective techniques. Myriam is
teaching Six Sigma at FIU (Florida International University) as adjunct faculty.
Prior to her Six Sigma career, Myriam held Sales and Management positions in the
Technology Industry; ten years selling technical solutions to Fortune 500 companies and
eight years as the District Regional Manager managing a $20M per month distribution
operations center of electronic equipment where she developed leading edge processes
and partnerships for just-in-time inventories and increased productivity.
Myriam is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, is on the Board of Directors for the Southeast
Florida American Society for Quality Section, (ASQ), the ASQ Deputy Director for the Florida
and Puerto Rico, and a juror for the ASQ International Team Excellence Award.
James Anzalone is President of Compliance Assurance LLC, a firm specializing in global
trade compliance solutions.
James was previously Vice President of Global Supply Chain at a leading company in the
biometrics industry. He has managed end-to-end supply chains, including supply and
demand planning, purchasing, warehousing, logistics and trade compliance for operations
in the U.S. and abroad.
Mr. Anzalone has developed comprehensive compliance programs including product
classification, license determination, and ‘know your customer’ checks He has also
developed corporate policies and procedures as well as employee training programs. Such
programs have allowed companies to safely and rapidly expand into profitable export
markets and take advantage of high quality, low cost materials imported from overseas
suppliers.
In addition to holding the position of Trade Compliance Officer for a major division of a
Fortune 100 corporation, Mr. Anzalone has owned and managed an import-export
corporation, developed dangerous goods transportation compliance programs, and
conducted ‘train-the-trainer’ sessions for numerous transportation and logistics initiatives.
Mr. Anzalone holds a Master’s Degree in International Business Administration from Nova
Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Logistics from
Pennsylvania State University. He is also an active member of APICS, Society for
International Affairs and the Institute for Supply Management.

Vimarie Ortiz is a principal with Processo Partners, Inc., a consulting software quality
company in South Florida specializing in all aspects of Software Quality and Computer
Systems Validation.
Ms. Ortiz’s experience in the software development, medical devices, biotechnology, and
pharmaceutical industry spans a decade, assisting customers in the assessment, support,
and management of computerized systems implementations, and the design of validation
solutions using Software Quality Engineering, Risk Management, Lean Software
Development, GAMP, and Configuration Management approaches.
She is actively involved in the dissemination of software quality awareness and best
practices through trainings, workshops and coaching worldwide.
