Introduction to Lean

We offer the Zippy Lean Factory Simulation course that enables all your employees to understand the methods and benefits of a Lean strategy.Through several rounds of simulation employees learn the concepts of waste elimination, 5s workplace organization and production flow that matches the customer's demand.

Our Lean expert facilitators will lead your teams through the improvement process.  The first step is to  map your processes through the use of the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) technique to identify areas of non-value added (wasteful) activities.  These non-value added activities become the focus for improvement.

Rapid Improvement Events (Kaizens) are held to develop solutions for improvement opportunities. The Facilitator and team will develop a Continual Improvement Plan to assure sustainability of the gains made.

Lean Six Sigma is a strategy for improving quality of products and services by targeting defect/error reduction and waste elimination. Lean Six Sigma combines the rapid improvement methods of Lean Manufacturing with the more structured approach of Six Sigma.
